The Sharon PTA was chartered by the North Carolina PTA (NCPTA) in 1995. Along with the NCPTA and National PTA, our mission is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children. We also share the same values of Collaboration, Commitment, Accountability, Respect, Inclusivity, and Integrity.

The Sharon PTA has approximately 600 members. Parents, teachers, and anyone else concerned about the well-being of our children are encouraged to join the Sharon PTA (annual dues of $7 per person/$14 per family), volunteer their time on one of our many committees, and attend our quarterly PTA meetings. Active parent and teacher involvement is one of the many reasons why Sharon is such a strong school.

Thanks to our fundraisers, committees, and countless volunteer hours, the Sharon PTA is able to promote quality education by:

  • Providing curriculum support and the latest technology for our teachers and students
  • Offering a variety of student enrichment programs
  • Encouraging parent and community involvement within our school, and much more

To continue our great success, we ask you to help the Sharon PTA provide “every child, one voice.”
